Curse

OK, so I'm experiencing this problem...the first time I noticed it, I was grouping with a necromancer, so I thought it just ment that the corpse had already been used to get a bone minon.

But...well, I'm not exactly sure, but I think I'm now seeing these black corpses even when necromancers aren't around.

I hope I'm wrong, and just forgot that a necro was with me, but could anything else be causing this problem?

Also, what's a good running temperature for the 6600GT, if anyone knows? In other games it doesn't go over 65C, but in guild wars it could sometimes go up to 75C.

It could have been that someone was a sub necro. A good test to see if it is your computer try to replicate it again with a necro or sub necro and try to exploite the corpse. If it works then there is something wrong, if it does not work then you just have to look for the necro. This only works if you are not using corpse expliots before the test.

Whatever causes it, it isn't your computer, because yesterday me and two teammates saw the same thing, and we all have completely different machines, not a single component in common between us.
We saw it mainly on corpses which'd been firestormed to death, and joked they were 'charred', but it really looks like a skinning issue - the corpses are pitch black, no detail visible at all.

EDIT: there might have been enemy necromancers around, I don't know.

the same thing happens to me, numa...the corpse is just black. If that's because of a necromancer, I really think that A.Net should at least give it a small amount of detail. It's just black in the shape of the corpse.

although I do remeber enemy necros in the area...
